Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
